Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • half a tbsp Black Pepper (adjust to your spice tolerance)
  • 1.5 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2.5 tbsp Ketchup
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 4 Chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions:

  1. Season both sides of the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat a pan over medium-high heat, add oil and wait until hot. Place the chicken in the pan with the skin side down.

  3. Pan-fry the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the skin is crispy and golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  4. In a bowl, mix together black pepper, minced garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, honey, and ketchup.

  5. Add butter to the same pan and melt over medium heat. Pour in the sauce and simmer for 1 minute.

  6. Return the chicken to the pan and cook on medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes on each side, until the sauce is fully absorbed.

  7. Serve hot with rice or vegetables.
